Over the course of 5+ years with Balfour Beatty Rail, Inc which had acquired Marta Track Constructors, Inc and Metroplex Corporation, I worked as a Project Scheduler, Estimator, Cost Accountant and Procurement Manager.

As a project scheduler, I created and oversaw the project schedule for several projects, including Pier 400 for the Port of Los Angeles and the Alameda Corridor, also in Los Angeles. I coordinated construction, subcontract work, materials delivery, schedule updates and weekly update meetings, change order implications, etc.As a project estimator, I worked with the Chief Engineer in establishing project estimates for bid.As a Cost Accountant and Procurement manager I was responsible for tracking, projecting and reporting on the performance of several projects nationwide, including the rail restoration project at the World Trade Center, the PATCO rapid transit project in New Jersey, the Light Rail construction project in Baltimore, MD and many more. I also streamlined the materials ordering process in establishing standard purchase procedures across the nation.I was an intricate part of establishing Standard Operating Procedures and followed up with applicable training.
